Wolves13 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) Hi all, Recently noticed a problem with the chrome trim on the rear bumper where it appears the plastic coating on the chrome trim is peeling off. Is this a common problem with A5’s and any idea of a solution? New ones appear to be over £300 just for the part but wondering if there is a better solution or repair option. No idea what’s caused it, whether it’s the jet wash or just change in weather. Edited April 5 by Wolves13 Remove video
Sid2020 Posted Monday at 10:17 PM Posted Monday at 10:17 PM Does it get sprayed with a chemical when the cars cleaned, the plastic chrome is sometimes razor sharp when it starts breaking up so watch your fingers but if you could pick the remaining chrome off you could get a silver/chrome vinyl wrap and apply that. I wrapped all my chrome with black vinyl as it started to go milky looking
