Strange one guys. Had my s3 mapped at my door, standard ecu tune around 360bhp. I then fitted an r600 performance air intake and a res delete. Car ran fine for a couple of months but I’ve had 2 gearbox malfunctions over the last couple of days when I’m driving hard. Car goes to redline stays there doesn’t !Removed! and the into limp mode on the gearbox. It’s under warrenty 🫣 so I’ve take the air filter and res delete out and taken her a drive. No she’s running fine. Shifts are perfect. I know it sounds crazy but in any way could them mods after the map cause a gearbox issue or has anyone had a similar problem. Thanks. James

If under warranty get them to fix it. It'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox last serviced?

Can’t take it back until I get the map removed. Gearbox oil was done just over 2 months ago. My original thought was to stage 2 it but with a gearbox fault at stage one it’s making me think twice you get used to the power so quickly and always want more

You can get the gearbox ECU remapped too. But if damage is done you might have to change megatronics unit

Il take it to a mechanic and get him to stick the computer on it see what he says. Thanks for commenting
