Mark A6 Posted Friday at 01:22 PM Posted Friday at 01:22 PM I've called Audi Tyneside again today. (Lookers is the dealership, based in Glasgow). They still maintain they have heard nothing of this issue, bounced me between teams then eventually to Glasgow HQ who were similarly blank n stonewalling.... I then called Audi UK back with the case reference i had. Their latest suggestion was to try rescanning for goodness sake.... I sent them an email last night with the details they had requested when I logged the case earlier this week and I've yet to hear anything anywhere near authoritative from them. I did explain this would only get worse and more public the more people realised they had this issue, so getting ahead of it (probably too late for that) would be in their best interests. Their number is 0800 699 888 should anyone want to pile on the pressure! 1
Louiset Posted Friday at 02:03 PM Posted Friday at 02:03 PM Just called Audi UK, 0800 699 888. Absolute pain, not interested. Told me to go to retailers and pay to have it checked, before they will even investigate and give me a case number. Not interested in what I had to say about this website and all the people with same issue since 1 April 2025. Blamed it all on Bauer media and would not even listen when I said I knew they had changed from Dab to Dab+, BUT it should make no difference as my car comes with a Dab+ supported radio - see earlier posts with photo of manual!!
Chalky Posted Friday at 02:46 PM Posted Friday at 02:46 PM Hi everyone, new member just joined. Same issue as everyone else here. Glad I’ve found and read the thread as I was going to make a call to Audi next week to book it in. From what others have said so far, it doesn’t look that promising so I guess like others, I’ll be watching and waiting to see what happens…
Mark A6 Posted Friday at 02:57 PM Posted Friday at 02:57 PM Just got this text from Audi And it's not even one of the two case numbers I have! Turns out there are two tech teams in the UK and I got a call from one of them 3 hours ago to update me they'd found nothing yet.. Can't wait to rate their service, I'm sure.....

I spoke to Audi earlier- got nowhere! I'm to reach out to thier Press office - this often works faster to get answers and esclate to the right person(s). I'll keep you posted when I hear back. 1
Smithers01 Posted Friday at 04:51 PM Posted Friday at 04:51 PM (edited) Has anyone made a post on the Audi sub Reddit. That could be worth a shout and linking this forum post. Pretty sure Audi reps will monitor that page. 285k members https://www.reddit.com/r/Audi Edited Friday at 04:52 PM by Smithers01 1

Kieran j Posted Saturday at 06:57 AM Posted Saturday at 06:57 AM Hi all I have a Audi Q3 s line 2015 same problem has everyone else on here it is so annoying let’s hope the is a solution to this problem keep looking every day for updates and none found at the moment
Max01 Posted Saturday at 07:43 AM Posted Saturday at 07:43 AM Hi everyone, glad I've found this post as my daughter has been driving me crazy cos she can't get her favorite station anymore. She's got a 2018 Q3 and hers has lost the stations mentioned but her boyfriend got a 2015 A3 and his dab is still working perfectly. Hoping Audi will come up with a solution but I doubt it, I'll keep following
Ali99 Posted Saturday at 08:19 AM Posted Saturday at 08:19 AM Same issue, our A1 went in for a service and MOT - they must have updated the version then. So far we’ve figured out it’s just the national DAB stations, local ones work fine. Only commenting to try and give a bit more proof that it’s Audi at fault! Thank goodness for this thread, we were running out of ideas! Same software version as previously mentioned: P16342 1
Paul_UK74 Posted Saturday at 10:08 AM Posted Saturday at 10:08 AM Just to remind you all. All of us have the exact same MMI That being RMC HW H61. That MMI was only installed in A1, A6 and Q3 between 2015 and 2018. It angers me when I read that Audi are telling us that the vehicle is not the issue and it is Bauer media. Let's not forget that Global also switched, so it isn't just Bauer media. DAB+ is DAB+. The issue isn't Bauer or global using the wrong DAB+. The issue is 100% Audi. They have either installed and programmed the chipset incorrectly or they have missed something when it came to adding the mpeg4 audio codec to allow is to listen to the DAB+ frequency. Audi also have it documented that out RMC MMI is DAB+. There are earlier models of our vehicles that have RMC MMI installed but that HW version is earlier than HW61. HW61 should be recalled and corrected to match how it was marketed, that it is DAB+ 3

Trying to maximise coverage here so Audi inevitably have to respond. 2
Cookeylicious Posted Saturday at 06:05 PM Posted Saturday at 06:05 PM I own a 2016 A6 C7 and a few weeks ago the DAB stopped working on all the local as well as national channels. I was about to book it into my local dealership but decided to google the question to see if there were any forums highlighting the same issue. The rest as they say is history. I’m glad I’m not alone as it was unexpected and my DAB has worked perfectly until now. Too much of a coincidence for it to be an isolated issue. I’m glad I didn’t waste £150 pounds for them to tell me something I already know. Let’s hope Audi do have a fix and soon 1
DavidNew Posted Sunday at 11:29 AM Posted Sunday at 11:29 AM (edited) It seems a previous thread has maxed out. Many Audi’s are no longer able to receive National DAB radio stations from 31.3.2025. It appears to be a DAB+ compatability issue Audi dealers seem unaware of the issue and are recommending diagnostic checks and have not admitted there is a widespread issue. SiHew Posted Sunday at 11:36 AM Posted Sunday at 11:36 AM Hi, I also have an issue with D1 national DAB radio stations since 1st April. Currently the BBC and local stations are working through DAB. This definitely appears to be, as previous members have posted, a software /chipset issue with models quoted. Does anyone have the email address of Audi UK CEO? I think a direct email highlighting this issue may, hopefully, gain some traction to be resolved if person at helm has numerous contacts directed their way.

Audi UK have stopped posting/ replying on their ‘X’ profile and the previous post on this issue maxed out at 160+ responses. Something will have to be done.
SiHew Posted Sunday at 12:06 PM Posted Sunday at 12:06 PM @DavidNew I completely agree something should be done by Audi UK especially as my Audi model, and others who previously posted, states it is DAB+ compatible. Admittedly, it has only been 2 weeks since the issue seems to have occurred. I will wait for Audi to recognise the issue and hopefully to offer a correction (which should br at their cost) otherwise they seemingly have mis-sold their cars with functionality which isn't operational. 1
MSG Posted Sunday at 12:37 PM Posted Sunday at 12:37 PM I lost Dab channels end-Mar 25 also. 2016 Q3 Regretting buying Audi now.

And Audi dealers will have lots of vehicles in stock and for sale with useless radios. They know there’s a problem.
cliffcoggin Posted Sunday at 01:20 PM Posted Sunday at 01:20 PM I am merging this thread with the existing thread. There is no point in having two topics with identical subjects.
SiHew Posted Sunday at 01:40 PM Posted Sunday at 01:40 PM Thanks @cliffcoggin, I thought the previous thread had reached maximum posts.
