tinner Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 forgive me if this has been covered before , but my car locks itself with the key inside , a problem .I want to know is this a ecu problem or a key fob problem , although the fob will lock and unlock I understand there is a transponder in the fob , could this be the problem ? Tech Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 Right OK there is potential for it to be a few things then. Try using the spare remote fob for a while and see if that eliminates the problem.
