tinner Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 on my '09 vw Passat I can reset the service light without a plug-in , I notice in the menu on the a3 there are computers 1 & 2 should I reset these ? I haven't an owners manual .thanks. 1
Tech Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I'm afraid not, to reset the longlife service interval, the adaption channels in the instruments need changing with a diagnostic machine. Tech
tinner Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 there are 2 buttons on the instrument binnacle , to reset the service warning you can pull the right one until the service warning comes up , let go , pull again until; the warning comes up let go and then the service warning is reset .
