audi a4 tdi timingbelt questions

bought a tdi pd115 the other day with 230k. No record of the belt being done but i found the timing belt had date like marks on them. 

 

belt looks fine etc but you cant tell that way.

I would think that would be the date the belt had been manufactured rather than fitted but it's fairly recent anyway so it should have been fitted after that which is good! Good find!
