Audi73 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Hi Guys Iam looking at getting a 2006 Audi A3 2.0 TDi From a garage the problem i have is the,the chap i spoke to said he dosent know if the cambelt has been changed as the car was being serviced with audi with 4 stamps The car has done 92,000 on the clock ive phoned 3 dealers where the car had services and work done there was a gap in the service history and they cant see any cambelt being done so i dont know wht to do give it a miss or go for it the car has had only 1keeper http://www.berkshireusedcars.co.uk/used-cars/audi-a3-2-0-tdi-5dr-dsg-newbury-201401060832954 cheers mick

garfybeds Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 If you can't find evidence that its been done, I would get it done - the cost of the results of a broken cambelt versus the replacement of one is significant.
