Chris Lombard Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Hi all. I just have a question about the fuel pipe situated under the car between the fuel tank & the engine bay. It has sprung a leak & after removing the cover I found this pipe which curls back & forth as shown in the photo. What is the reason for this pipe being made like this? What is the purpose of the finning? Can it be safely replaced with a straight normal piece of pipe? Thanks in anticipation, Chris.
Daz46 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 The reason it is curved like that is because it is a fuel cooler, is it's leaking best to get it replaced
