Audi A4 - !! HELP on the TRIM !!

Hi everyone,

 

I've bought a 2002 Audi A4 not that long ago. Been tidying it up here and there but the thing bothers me the most is the terrible rubber/soft plastic coating that you find on the door/handle trim.

 

I now this stuff is notorious for peeling and at the moment its seen better days. 

 

Is there a good way of removing it from the plastic handles, trim sides etc. without damaging the plastic underneath.

 

Its possible that I might find replacement parts for the scratched ones but the same thing is just going to happen again & again.

 

If you know what I'm on about, Please give suggestions.
