What to watch for?

Hi,

I am currently looking for a 2008-2010 Audi A4 Avant.... not too worried if 2.0 diesel or petrol but would prefer the S Line or Limited Edition.

What are the big things i should check please? i've noticed several adverts saying they have had water pumps changed which on a fairly newish car seems a little worrying... 

Not worried about recalls as i can check with Audi whats outstanding when i get one more worried about anything costly that could result in even more expense if not done :/
