New owner needs help!

Hi everyone, i've just got a 2002 a4 (b6) 2.0, i've only had it for 5 days and there are already a few problems, I hope someone can help!

 

1) When driving along the car thinks the boot and bonnet are opening at random times, and I think it is setting off the alarm randomly when the car is locked at night? I have removed the alarm from the boot and took a look inside but I cant seem to find replacement batteries anywhere! anyone had this problem?

 

2) I took the car to a garage because the check engine light was on and after a long time (money money money) the diagnostic machine came up with a problem with the deadlock on the passenger side door?

 

3) When the drivers side rear door is open it is not showing on the display between the dials?

 

4) When putting into 2nd gear it sometimes is quite hard to get into? I really hope this isnt a synchromesh?! (unsure of spelling sorry)

 

5) The speaker on the drivers side front door isnt working, is it quite a job getting the door card off?

 

6) simply for aesthetics I would like to change a few of the switches in the car, it is 12 years old and understandably some wear and tear is expected but I would like to make it a bit nicer inside!

 

I know it's a lot at once but I hope the combined knowledge of everyone can help me out a bit!
