I have a 2006 Audi A3. It's been sitting for a week during the cold weather. It now won't start - but its not battery, I put a new one in two months ago, and a battery check shows its full charged.

When turn ignition the car tries to start but just dies almost immediately. The dash lights all come on as normal. But then fade.

Most noticeable is that the 'fuel remaining' display is showing '0 miles' even though I  know there is plenty of fuel in there. Could it be a fuel pump issue? What part could cold weather have played in causing this problem?

Any ideas welcome.
