flashing reverse drivers side reversing light

Hi all I'm new to the Audi club as always been a vw owner, thought I would grow up and get a Audi. I bought the car Sunday and guy said the lamp was out so when I got home put a new one in and it flashes ! Can anyone suggest what is could be please ? Any info would be great ! Thanks in advance

Hi , I have a A4 Avant and have the same issue as you , but its the passenger side ! I've changed the bulb and sprayed WD 40 to disperse any water , but only slightly better !! did you ever get it fixed and if so what's the solution ?

If it's not the bulb/connection, what about the reverse light switch in the gearbox?
