Hi,

I am looking to buy a 2.0 TDI SE Sportback S Tronic A3 with 125k on the clock. My concern is that despite it being a great car with a great spec, the high mileage may mean that I will end up with a very large repair bill when the s-tronic gearbox fails/goes wrong. Maybe I'm being too pessimistic but I would be grateful for any advice regarding the potential purchase of this type of model with such a high mileage. I have been assured that the flywheel has recently been changed - I have asked for receipts for this as well as confirmation that the oil has been changed every 40k and any other major work but any expert advice from fellow members/owners would be very welcome.
