Simol Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 At 106,000 miles the fan on my 2008 2.7 TdI Saloon S Line Le Mans has decided to run on for about 30 seconds after I turn the engine off. If I turn the ignition on and off without starting the engine, the fan still starts up for about 30 seconds. Thoughts please.

Simol Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Hi James. The fan started running on when the car got to 106,000 miles! Never done it before then. The car is 7 years old. Started about six months ago.
James Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 To me it sounds like the temperature sensor. It could be that it's on the way out and is causing the car to think it's hot when it is not. I'm not exactly sure on the price but I don't seem to recall them being that expensive so may be worth a try!
