Alarm problems!

Hello!

 

My alarm on my A4 Avant 1.9 TDi keeps going off at all times of the night and the central locking only locks the drivers door, I've tried changing the central locking unit by swaping it with my friends, it had the same part number but nothing happened.

Can anyone shed any light on the issue? Maybe a leaky hose?

The alarm sounder itself is often the culprit when it comes to the alarm playing up so it would be good to check that out.

 

Also, look under the carpet on the passenger side as that is where the module is located. It can be a common fault for these to get wet and cause problems.
