Hello guys,

I came across this Bizol CVT ATF at my local Audi spares store. Apparently it is German manufactured and is quite Ok. He says he has sold a few of them and has had no complaints yet.

Question is, has anyone had any experience with this Bizol ATF or any Bizol oil of any kind. Would like to know if I made a mistake by flushing and refilling my Transmission with it.

So far my 2004 Audi A4 2.0SE seems to hold gears better and picking is improved. However i do have higher rpms at higher speeds than i did before.

Any feedback will be appreciated!

Yes I have..last scan came up with this:

1 Fault Found:
18201 - Transmission Output Speed Sensor 2 (G196)
            P1793 - 000 - No Signal
             Freeze Frame:
                    RPM: 736 /min
                    RPM: 672 /min
                    RPM: 40 /min
                    (no units): 2.0
                    Torque: 10.0 Nm
                    Temperature: 80.0°C
                    T.B. Angle: 0.0°
                    Bin. Bits: 1010 0 1

Any idea how to translate and solve this.

Much appreciated in advance.

Do you have any other symptoms like the flashing PRNDS?

From what I've seen before that code often points to a faulty gearbox ECU  :(

oh no....this isn't good at all and not the news I wanted to hear :-(....any solutions before it stalls on me on the road?

I think unfortunately you have to replace the gearbox ecu (TCM) and it has a modified sensor now. I did read somewhere about a possible TSB regarding this so may be worth checking with your dealer anyway.

Cool... I will try to see if i can get a good TCM replacement.. Any leads that I can look at? Sites? online shops where i can get a genuine good TCM replacement.

I think it's probably worth having a chat with Audi first to see if there is anything they can do good will etc as it's a known problem.

I did find an article here:

http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/03/19/settlement-of-class-action-against-audi-gets-preliminary-approval/?_r=0

It is in the USA but quite interesting.
