Front grill on 2004 A6

Want to remove the front grill to spray it black , any tips advice or even a link to how to get it off

late 54 plate and a full grill so I'm sure it's a C6

Pretty sure you need to remove the front bumper first and then the retaining clips will become obvious.

yes thought as much , so just gonna mask off around and spray with peel coat Matt black

Ok what you think , keep the rings black or get the chrome back . It's peel coat Matt black so easy to come off .
