Bipman
Hi all I think my aircon re-circulation actuator is a bit stuck as the aircon only seems to work properly in re-circulation mode. Is this actuator easy to reach or would it need a garage to check it ? It's a 2008 2.7TDi model. Bipman
James
Do the fans work (with air con off) while in normal non recirculation mode?
Bipman
I'm not sure; do you mean in Eco mode ? Bipman

James
At least you know what it is now... Doesn't sound that easy though - see this from a VW forum: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5499264-01274-Air-Flow-Flap-Positioning-Motor-(V71)-014-Defective
Bipman
I took a look on ElsaWin and it looks like you only have to remove the windscreen wiper arms and then a few bolts. I believe the wiper arms are a bit of a pig to remove though. Bipman

Bipman
Maybe. Weekends are too busy at the moment but I'll take a look and see if it looks relatively easy. The main issue will be removing the wiper arms if they are locked or need a puller.
