petershaw Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Hi all. I have an a4 avant 2litre fsi turbo which is a great great pleasure to me. I need to tow a small caravan over the pyronese in summer. The tow bar is a retro fit and I notice that the proper audi one includes an oil cooler for the auto box, mine does not have this cooler. Has anyone any knowledge that would help. It towed 200 miles into wales without a problem but that's not as serious as the pyronese! Any advise welcomed
James Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Hi Peter, generally I think it will depend on the weight you're towing and the distance. For example, if you were just towing a small garden trailer then I wouldn't worry about it. With your caravan, it will probably depend on the weight of it. I assume you don't have any warranty to worry about so it will likely just be down to you as to whether you want to risk it or not.
