Just bought Audi 80 Cab 2.6 in great condition,but seems to have constant petrol smell in car,also temp gauge not working,any ideas please?

Hi John...welcome to the club!

I would take it to a garage to have the fuel smell checked just in case it has a potentially dangerous leak, as it is a sealed system it should not create any vapour.

Temp gauge fault should be easily diagnosed by the garage also.
