Glow plug symbol flashing

Hi new on here hoping someone can help a bit,

was driving today and the particulate filter symbol appeared after a while it disappeared and was replaced with the glow plug symbol flashing, along with the emissions control symbol which looks like an engine management icon.

anyone any idea on what to do apart from the obvious in taking it straight to Audi.

HI Craig....welcome to the Forum!

Has the car been on a long drive where you can give it a blast to clear it through as most particulate problems just result from not clearing it through and running the regeneration process.

Worth giving it a try first

the car is now in limp mode. It did clear then this happened.

I would then recommend taking it straight to a specialist or dealer to have a scan carried out to determine what the actual fault is
