Hazards flash for 5 minutes as soon as I start the engine

Just bought an A4 Quattro sport and when I start the engine the hazards flash for 5 mins and I can't turn them off. 

The alarm also isn't working. 

I've plugged it in but no faults are showing. 

Any idea?,

Hi Emma...welcome to the Forum!

It sounds like its related to the central locking/alarm system fault.

Would look at door switches to see if they are operative in the first place and then proceed to the alarm system afterwards if necessary.
