ValiantSaint Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Hello everyone, I'm really warming to the B6 Avant, as a family car (Wife's pregnant) and I'd like one with a 1.9 diesel engine Now, as you know, it's hard to not 'fettle' a new car when you get it, so what's the best way of dropping the car, tidying up the ride, whilst keeping it supple and compliant? (I do a lot of town driving, with lots of speed humps etc) - I fear that coilovers will be just too low. I have read about an 'S-Line' suspension swap works quite well on some of the lesser models. And is there anything that should be replaced on the B6 Avant when changing the suspension? I would like to put a set of alloys on it, which size should I go for, so I don't compromise the ride too much? And I want all of this within as small a budget as possible! Very grateful for any assistance with this :)
Trevor Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Hi Adam Not sure if lowering and bigger alloys/lower profiles will do anything for the comfort levels and if your wife's pregnant I'm sure she will something to say about that Good luck with your mods and I think the S-Line setup would be a great choice Cheers Trevor - Admin
