What size are the caliper bracket bolts?

Hello,

i am replacing my brake discs - can someone please tell me what size the bolts are. I have been told 8mm hex but they are not hex and seem a lot bigger than that. Also, anyway to remove them easily? Not enough room for the breaker bar.

Sorted it. Just in case anyone is wondering I used a 14mm spline socket on a breaker bar. Not a lot of room but I managed it eventually!

Was just about to post up a response say that it is spline but replacements seem to be hex.

Glad you got them out as they can be a pig to remove, I usually put waterpump pliers on outside of them to help shift them if they don't budge.
