Ipod lead connection

Hello, I've recently purchased a 2007 A3 TFSI. I was wondering if anyone knows if the ipod lead in the gloves box is hard wired to the stereo or if it's plugged in as I would like to change it for an android lead?

Hi Adam....welcome to the Forum

I just had a quick look on eBay to see if there is an adapter to convert from Apple to Android but I can't find anything unfortunately.

May just have to pull the stereo out and see hows it connected.
