Stewart Nicoll Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi Guys, I have just purchased a 2009 Audi A4 3.0 TDI Quattro Saloon with a full Audi Service history, last major service performed 2015 at 45,000 miles. Can you advise as to when i should consider changing the timing belt and water pump ? I have owned Audi's before but never this old. Should i continue to use Audi for services or can I use alternatives who specilaiZe in Audi ? Any advice would be gratefully received.
Trevor Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Hi Stewart....welcome to the Forum If you haven't already replaced the belt/chain yet, I would consider doing it now before failure occurs. Any reputable Audi specialist repairer should be fine to use, as long as they fit quality parts. Cheers Trevor
