Hi, Having problems opening the boot of my Audi  Cab 89 T Reg tried everything apart from drilling hole behind numberplate as a friend suggested, wont open with key tried all methods suggested by handbook and garage mechanics, Anyone had similar problem.

Hi Andy...welcome to the Forum

Had this problem on a Merc Cabriolet many years ago (problem associated with not manually unlocking the boot and just using the remote fob)....had to get into the boot through the back seat and release it manually from inside. Not sure if you could use a similar method on the Audi?
