Hi Andy...welcome to the Forum

I would personally recommend Michelin as an all-year round tyre with quite a reasonable wear rate.

I use Continentals on my 3.0TDI Quattro coupe. These are R19/255/35. They are not the cheapest but I get 30,000 miles per set and grip brilliantly. Well worth the extra £20 or so per tyre compared to cheaper brands.

I run a budget £350 for 4 tyres on 19" rims for over year now , no issues at all and minimum wear
