Post a photo of your Audi

Hi Club Members,

I am new to the club having just bought my first Audi. Its a 2013 S7 with full service history including its original bill of sale from Audi in Newbury, and its finished in ice (I think I've got that right) silver with a black interior. It has a sunroof and I am chuffed with it so far. I am living in Swansea and really don't know where to have it serviced, although my preference is to maintain its main dealer service history which has been in Newbury and Reading - bit of a trip for servicing, although I would probably enjoy the journey!!. I have the same issue with a Mercedes SL which I have had since 2021, although I have decided to take that to the Mercedes specialist in Bridgend about 30 miles from me. If anyone knows and could recommend any Audi trustworthy independent specialists or main dealers, please let me know. I have attached a couple of pici's for you to see the car. I would like to get some 21"x 9J alloys for it and have been looking on e-bay for style options, but haven't seen any yet. I do quite like the Audi Rotor wheel in the grey/silver, but I also like an Audi 15 spoke 19" x 8.5J wheel (part number 8TO-071-499-1ZL in silver) which is being advertised as fitting the A5 model, however its size and offset (ET33) suggests to me that it would also fit the S7? Anyway, enough blurb from me and I'll let you know how I get on. Many thanks Chris

New to me 2017 B9 Avant S-Line Limited Edition, replacing a B8.5 Avant Tecknik.  Very happy with it, the increased Hp over the older makes some difference!!

Hi Neil,

I'm glad you like the S7, I bought it a few weeks ago and am really enjoying the drive. Your point about 'a nice set of wheels' is a good one, as that is exactly what I'm doing. I have found pictures of a genuine Audi 15 spoke alloy with diamond cut silver spokes and a polished rim, but I cant find any to look at in the 'flesh'. My local Audi dealer can get them from Germany, but if I order them I have to have them. As a consequence I am ordering one single wheel to see what they are like and to try on the car, and if all good I will order another 3.

If all goes to plan I will post some additional pictures.

Thanks Neil

Chris

I don't even know what colour it is, must look for the sticker,

Seems to be a different shade depending on light.

Yes it’s a great colour. It was my first choice when I was looking for an 8p many years ago. Couldn’t find the right one and ended up with larva grey … which was my third choice but grew to love it 😂

nice car there rybrook… future classic for sure.

It's my first Audi so getting used to layout and handling etc.

I'm going to get a few things replaced to make perfect, mainly trim pieces and door seals first.

Being urged to get it mapped but will hold off for now😊

Have a look on eBay for trim bits.

I have done Steve, already got a new drivers door seal ( mines got a tear in it) and new rubber windscreen side rubbers. Hopefully fitting them this weekend if I get some spare time.

Need to find a replacement black edition trim piece now as one of mine is corroding under the paint !

Dear Audi enthusiasts,

I sent a photo back in May'24 of my newly purchased S7 (see below)which I'm really pleased with, but my other family members weren't happy that they hadn't been included in the picture and so here they are!

Thanks Steve, glad you like the Jag.

Its a 6.0 litre so becoming quite rare these days.

Compared to the SL which is a bit of a brute (nice brute of course!) the Jag is a bit more of an elegant lady!!

Thanks for your message

Chris
