Compared to the SL which is a bit of a brute (nice brute of course!) the Jag is a bit more of an elegant lady!! Thanks for your message Chris Very nice Sir! 6.0L - when did they finish those? V8 started at 3.8 I believe then 4.2 before going up to 5.0L as mine is. Was the 6.0L the V11?
Chris James Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Hi Allan, Thanks for your message. The 6.0 is a V12 and was introduced to take over from the 5.3 V12. Production of the 6.0 was from around 1992/3 through to the end of production in 1996 and coincided with the introduction of the full facelift version and became the only V12 XJS available. The other models available were the 4.0 & 3.6, both of which I believe were the straight 6 cylinder engine. Anyway, thanks for your message and I'm glad you like the picture.

David Camilleri Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Welcome to the forum ! Looks great, I agree with Steve Q, interior colour makes a big difference to black like mine! 1

David Camilleri Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I bought mine used so was more focused on overall condition and main specification, trim level etc . It definitely makes a big difference to the feeling the inside in that interior shade! 1

My older a 6 has a similar interior colour (platinum grey) and it's lovely. 1

I don’t know, but they did.. then I realised I’d forgotten the mud flaps and they said it’s too late to add anything to the order, we were still in the showroom after just placing the order… I still to this day don’t understand that, but hey, the car looks better without them 😊

Padraic Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Hi all, just joined up today. Here's my new machine. I originally had a 2014 A3 1.6 S-Line, then a 2014 A4 TDI. But this little pocket rocket is a drastic improvement. 2016 A3 SPORT 184 - perfect for overtaking muppet drivers on the Irish roads here!! 1
Chris James Posted November 11 Posted November 11 Its a cracking motor - thanks for pici's and enjoy your ownership. 1
