A3 sound system driving me mad

Hi guys I really need some help I just got this 66reg a3 with premium sound pack when I start up put music on its really loud soon as I start driving it gets so low any ideas I heard something about disabling in vcds is this true cheers

It may be settings relating to speed increase (the faster you go the louder it gets) but have a look at the following link to see if there's any useful information in there about it.
