Stage 1 remap

Hi people I've got an 04 A4 1.8t (190) and have decided to get a stage 1 remap!! Could anyone tell me what benefits I should be looking for?? What sort of price should I be paying and any recommendations around the Nottingham area to get it done?? Many thanks Dean

Only advice I can offer on any tuning mods is to ensure that the engine/transmission is healthy before upgrading power as this is when things start going wrong.
