Brad-B5 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Hi all I had my Clutch and flywheel changed last month, because my one had totally gone (severe judder) I took my car to a trusted German car (more Audi) Specialist who is also a clutch specialist as for many other things that he is. So to cut a long story short even with a new clutch and flywheel it still judders not as aggressively but still judders on take offs and there is a bit of a clunking sound. He's had a look and says the clutch is fine and more likely to be the gearbox but hes changing the clutch and flywheel for me on Friday under warranty , fingers crossed. (All parts are OEM) Any thoughts? do you agree on his outcome?
Audi Owners Club. Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Could be worn engine/gearbox mounts and the judder is the lash being taken up. Alternatively, then suspect either the driven plate or flywheel as both could give a judder.
