Brad-B5
Hi all, I want to know what you've done to improve your engine that be upgrades (Air filter ect) or things such and changing fuel or have an engine clean? On my 104k Audi A4 b5 1.9TDi I have changed from Esso fuel and sometimes supermarket fuel to Shell V+ about 7 months ago, what a difference now! I Don't use anything different now, also had a carbon clean which helped dramatically also.
Trevor
Quality is immediately noticeable I reckon...as soon as you've fill it and driving it the mpg goes up and feels quicker....either that or my subconsieous is saying 'come on you've paid good money for that, you will notice the difference!'

This was exactly me when I first bought it lol I did though definitely feel the change and not it's more for peace of mind that it's keeping my engine cleaner and in good condition ;)
NinjaDaz
I like the Shell V+. I do feel that it is doing my engine good, feels more responsive, better mpg and makes the diesel lump sound better/quieter. When I had a remap done it had V+ in so will not use anything else if I can help it. Yes, supermarket fuels are cheaper but at what cost at the end of the day. Bit of a false economy in my opinion.
stu
Before joining this site and before buying my car i was searching to see which fuel to use and a lot of the sites were saying that tescos 99ron seemed to work best with petrol cars so have been sticking with that. And yes have noticed you all drive diesels
Brad-B5
I'd still try a few of the other brand like shell and BP but it's up to you and if it's working fine for your car then why not! :D and Yes alot of us are dirty Diesel lovers here but then there are a lot of petrol lovers too :)
