Nick P Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Hi All I picked my Audi SQ7 today from Audi in Norwich and am loving it. I replaced a Range Rover Sport and the SQ7 feels great. Looking forward to reading your posts and learning more about the world of Audi. Nick
Trevor Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Hi Nick...welcome to the Forum The Q7 is an awesome machine...can't make the comparison to the Range Rover personally as never owned either but I would imagine they are quite close in comparison. What do find are the differences (pro's & con's) of each? Cheers Trevor
Brad-B5 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Hi Nick Welcome to the forum! love the Q7's! and as Trevor has said, the differences must be close? Looking forward to seeing you around the forum :) Enjoy! Regards Bradley
Nick P Posted January 19, 2017 Author Posted January 19, 2017 Hi Trevor and Bradley Thanks for your replies. The Range Rover Sport is a nice car with many nice features. In fact, I've had many RR Sports over the years and have enjoyed every one. My last one, however, seemed sluggish to pull away and my partner felt it rolled in corners too much, so whilst buying her a Q3 I decided the SQ7 looked awesome and tested a standard Q7. I really enjoyed it. The response was quick and the tech on board is awesome. It felt more like a car than the Land Rover so I thought I'd give it a go. So far I'm not disappointed with my new SQ7. The 0-60 at less than 5 seconds gives me all the fun I need in comfort with virtually no roll in corners. Perfect! I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Audi range which seems to have something to suit everyone and especially from other drivers of SQ7s. All the best Nick 1
Brad-B5 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 wouldn't imagine the RRs to be sluggish at all, even they they are heavy cars, but glad you're enjoying your SQ7 and hope you'll stay with the Audi range in the future also is your wife enjoying the Q3? You have all the information on this forum and a lot of very knowledgeable people to help with (hopefully none) issues :) 1
