2012 2.0 TDI Sidelights

Hi I'm wondering if someone can help me. I have a 2012 A3 2.0 tdi and I'm trying to get the sidelight bulbs changed. I have already bought some w5w bulbs and got told by a garage there not the right ones and they have never seen the ones that I do need before? Any idea or suggestions? Thanks
