Hi I'm new to the group and was wondering if any one could advise me on any common faults or things to look out for on an a5 3.0tdi auto Quattro as I'm about to purchase one. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum, I am sure someone with a lot more know how than me will be along shortly. As far as I am aware there are not many common faults on Audis, except theri emissions seem suspect....

Hi Ken...welcome to the Forum

As Juggati has mentioned, there aren't too many faults but the emissions one is really causing problems at the mo.

Timing Chains/Belts can be an issue...just make sure the service history is up to date and has always had quality parts fitted.

Otherwise, they're great cars
