Stevedunstan72 Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Hi, I had the A3 4 wheel aligned today due to a lower arm change on the rear, they told me that I need a new n/s front hub to get the camber right, they think it's bent. Camber is 1.25 degrees. Im not convinced I need a hub, any thoughts?
cliffcoggin Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I can't imagine anything short of a major crash that might bend a hub forging. Has the garage checked whether the various rubber bushes in the suspension and steering links have softened or disintegrated? 1
Stevedunstan72 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Hi, No, I'm thinking a worn bush in the bottom arm. Time to get the jack out
Audi Owners Club. Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I'd totally agree...more than likely a worn bush
