Nicholasvm Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Hey guys..Thanks for having me :) Just bought an Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 TDI, upgrade from a Mini Cooper (so quite bigger haha) I hate yellow lights,so I put LED h7 front headlights on, but every so often, the left dipped error comes up and the bulbs are working fine!! Any others had the same-any solutions?
Trevor Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Hi...welcome to the Forum Sometimes the error can come up if the system registers a different resistance so maybe the LED lamps need different resistors/resistor pack to cure this. Let us know what you find Cheers Trevor
rbdazza Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Generally speaking when you change from a standard bulb to an led you need to consider a resistor to dupe the systen into thinking the correct bulb is still there. The downside to this is heat, resistors can get very hot. 1
