Hi Darren...welcome to the Forum

I'm not sure but if the load restriction is stamped on it and you don't exceed this (along with being in good condition) then I don't imagine it would be an issue. Although, I have to say, not entirely sure about Aluminium as a choice of material for a towbar though!

Hi Trevor its says 95 Kg but I don't know if that's pushing down weight or towing weight and the tow ball is steel

I'm sure it must be fit for purpose especially if it has a BS kite mark on it somewhere...if not, then I would be a bit worried as it could be imported and not make to strict UK standards
