System lean bank 1

Hi all, 

We've only recently got our 2007 TT 2.0 and the engine management lights came on. It went straight back to the trader who stated that they would change air mass sensor, but a few days later the light came back on. I've got a basic odb reader which says system lean bank 1, with so many different net pages giving advice I was hoping that someone would be able to give some help

HI Robert...welcome to the Forum

Hard to say exactly what it is but if I had to hazard a guess I would say it could be an oxygen sensor but worth checking for an exhaust leak and/or vacuum leak in the inlet manifold area. What is the exact code?

Try those areas first and have a look at the live data for the sensors to see what is changing or anything is not changing when it should do.
