JoHanna Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 I have a 2014 Q5 TDI with 61,000 miles. I was told the transfer pump for the ADBLUE broke. New pump and labor are $1,400+ Has anyone else had this problem?
Audi Owners Club. Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Hi JoHanna...welcome to the Forum I would have thought it would be a warranty item as it is emissions related and not something that should break in normal service. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor 1
JoHanna Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 Thanks for the quick reply, Trevor. The dealer said it was not covered. Any suggestions of how I should proceed? This seems a hard hit for a fairly new car. Thanks so much.
Audi Owners Club. Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Would then suggest trying to source a pump from somewhere else and getting an independent garage to fit it....would be a lot cheaper in the long run 1
