Trevor Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Wow...that's a great investment, almost worth trying to find cars that used to belong to celebrities and auction them off (just a thought). Great story and photos though....nice one Steve 1

Magnet Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 Interesting Sorry got the numbers confuse in my slightly earlier post. Silly me! Now more sense! So what would a 1994 Audi Carbriolet with 147k miles, no MOT and which has been off the road for the last 7 years be worth then? Remove the royal connection and have a guess. Add the royal connection and we know the anticipated answer. Kind regards, Gareth. 1

The article mentions that the car still carries the registration number L451 GJD, but this number doesn't currently show on the DVLA system. Current owner removed the number and placed it on retention, and this may be available by separate negotiation?! Gareth. Hmmm, thats interesting Gareth. When I did a vehicle enguiry with the DVLA online the registration came back as s an audi registered june 1994 SORNed and last MOTed in 2010 1
