But yes autogearbox specialist is best way forward unless a local garage can top up oil. I would phone round though rather than drive lots. Keep the miles down . They need to plug it in to a vag com to see whats going on That is true mate for sure if there is a fault, but I have read several threads indicating that the low oil levels prevents the gear actually fully selecting, therefore not displaying. I would say fingers crossed it's low oil level. If not many pennies. Out of interest, does it do this when cold, i.e. Just started? But gets better as everything warms up?
