Hennessy Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Hey all, would be great if I could get some help! My EMC light came on and intermittent glow plug light flashing on A4 B8. There is 3 faults with the throttle actuator 1. Circuit high 2. Circuit low 3. Control system stuck open I've taken the throttle actuator off and noticed that there is a lot of oil inside the electrical connection, is this normal? I've cleaned out all the crap that was in there, everything looks fine. Took the car for a blast on the motorway and all was good for 20 minutes but light has come back on. any help would be appreciated thanks
Audi Owners Club. Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Possibly a replacement one is needed if there is oil ingress on the electrical connections. If you do replace it, ensure that there is no oil tracking down through the loom into the connector
