Audi A4 Avant Issues

Hi all,

I've got a 62 (Jan 13) reg Audi A4 Avant Black Edition (1.8 TFSI) with 104k miles on the clock..

Recently it has started to develop some issues which is typical as i'd like to sell it as barely using it anymore.

1. PDC have just started to not work.. orange light flashed on the button
2. Air Con won't cool or heat up
3. When I engage reverse, the car takes a little bit of time to engage the gear. (is this normal)
4. Lights and started pointing in different directions.. (think cross-eyed)
5. Second key doesn't work

Anyway, I'd like to get this all fixed as otherwise the car is perfect and is very well looked after and spotless inside and out.

Any tips on where to take it and what sort of bill to expect before selling?

Bought from Pinner Motors last Jan for 12k, full service history and will be serviced before selling.

Would like to get at least 10k.

Thank you all! Based in London SW

Hi Liam welcome to the forum :)

You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

I won't have the answers to all your questions but only some I'm afraid.

With regard to the air con, when was this last serviced? Audi recommend this should be done every 2-3 years. Also do all the buttons work on it correctly? I ask this because if it isn't then you'll find it'll witch itself to econ (no air con) mode.

With regard to the gearbox is it manual or auto?

And in terms of the key, have you changed the battery at all?

Oh, and what car are you changing too?

Cheers :)

Steve
