Not that mines an old banger but I definitely a diesel! 

You won't see me driving anything new,/newish anytime soon I don't think!!

I just laugh at the amount of smoke/soot that comes out the exhausts from the 'modern' diesels when they accelerate from a slip road....where is the pollution control there?

If the car is being driven correctly and for the correct journeys at the right revs to labour the engine to keep it clean and therefore no problems....but unfortunately this is not usually the case.
