Steve Q Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Detroit Audi are recalling 52,000 Audi a6 and a7 models built between 25th January 2011 to 13th September 2013 due to faulty fuel lines. Please note that some affected vehicles could have been registered as late as 2014! It has been found that the fuel lines have been compromised during fitting at the factory due to a compression point fitted on the fuel lines. This made them easier to install but weakened them. This area of the fuel line can fail potentially causing a risk of a fuel leak or fire.
