Daniel Yardley Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Hi there, looking for some advice over a multitronic gear box fault. I purchased a 2012 A6 avant s-line 2.0 diesel multitronic 50k on the clock in Feb this year from Audi Plymouth (part of the Marshall motor group) a great car but noticed a fault developing in July when you are pulling off on a hill, fault got worse and the car either stalls ! Or wheel spins off then stalls. The car has full Audi service history from Audi Plymouth, been there several times now to be fixed but still no luck. They have changed gear oil, updated all software in gear box and replaced dual mass. Got the car back and within 24 hours of driving it's worse than ever, it now will not pull off on a hill without stalling, car is still in warranty and have told dealer if they don't put a new gearbox in it I will return the faulty car and expect my money back. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Any help and advice would be great.... Thank you
niedzial1983 Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Did you got warranty when you got it ? Usualy its 1 year
Daniel Yardley Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 Yes still in warranty still 2 months left
Daniel Yardley Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 No it has never showed any warning lights or read any fault codes. Reading online it seems Audi has a big problem with these boxes on fairly new cars with low mileage
Pedro_Neves17 Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Hi. Is this problem fixed? I haver exactly the same problem with my A6C7 Avant 2.0TDI.
